To further promote the standardization, internationalization, and collaborative development of cryosurgery in the field of minimally invasive oncology, and to deepen academic exchange and pragmatic cooperation among Asian countries, the Asian Society of Cryosurgery (ASC) is pleased to announce that the 10th Academic Conference & Council Transition Meeting will be held from October 16 to 18, 2026, at PO Hotel Semarang, Jl. Pemuda No. 118, Sekayu, Kec. Semarang Tengah, Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia.

The theme of this conference is 4L: Link, Lead, Launch, and Lift. Guided by the “Belt and Road” initiative and the principles of open cooperation and mutual learning, we aim to elevate cryosurgery technology in clinical application, standard promotion, and international talent cultivation. Among the four pillars of the theme, Link: Strengthening connectivity and collaboration across Asia in minimally invasive therapy. Lead: Leveraging the ASC platform to drive continuous technological and disciplinary advancement. Launch: Exploring new pathways for “Medical Outreach” to promote technologies and cooperation models globally. Lift: Enhancing the international influence of Asian cryosurgery to better serve patients region-wide.

The scientific program will cover the latest progress in: Cryoablation and Thermal Ablation, Interventional Therapy, Respiratory Endoscopic Intervention, Related Imaging, Clinical, and Basic Research.

A formal inauguration ceremony for the new ASC leadership will be held during the conference to review past achievements and strategize for future international cooperation.

Distance cannot divide those who share the same aspirations. We sincerely invite experts and colleagues from all countries to gather in Semarang, Indonesia. As an important historical site associated with Admiral Zheng He’s maritime voyages, Semarang carries rich memories of transoceanic friendship and mutual learning among civilizations. Gathering here today is both an echo of that historical friendship and a continuation of the cooperative spirit of the Belt and Road Initiative. Guided by the 4L vision, let us pool Asian wisdom, deepen international cooperation, and work together to advance cryosurgery in Asia toward a new stage of greater openness, pragmatism, and prosperity.
